A fascinating time to visit Rutherglen's vineyards. Vigneron's are each busily bringing in their precious harvests as the enticing aromas of fermenting varieties pervade the wineries.

Winter

What do you mean you've never seen Rutherglen's Winemakers 'put their wines to bed'! Well, while the vines are being pruned back in readiness for Springs' bud burst now's the time to see it!

Spring

Spring means 'bud burst'. Transforming the vineyards across Rutherglen into waves of green while indoors, the vignerons' previous vintages are being racked or siphoned off from their winter sediment.
